Class Description
***For Quilters Guild Only*** This is a private class only offered at this time for the Loose Threads Quilt Guild. This is a multi-part class where we will help you find the right pattern size, layout your quilt to get the right pieces cut, and provide guidance to assemble your jacket. Students will be expected to complete homework between classes in order to stay on track. Instructions will be provided to ensure success. Students will need to bring a quilt to their first class. Multiple quilts can be used to complete the finished look. Any additional desired embellishments will need to be provided by the student but are not required for the first class. Expectations: Class 1 - Measure and draft pattern, layout pieces and cut quilt. Discuss embellishment options for consideration. Practice seam techniques. Homework - Sew together pieces and finish most seams following instructions and demonstrations from class 1. Class 2 - Discuss questions and receive assistance with any issues discovered during homework. Complete final alterations and hems. Finishing touches may be required after class hours. Class Party - Join us on Friday May 2 from 6-7 PM for a fashion show to display your finished jacket to the group! The first class of each session will have a staggered start time to ensure students receive enough guidance from instructors to get started on their quilt jacket. Please select the time slots that work best for you. Class A - Saturday - 6 student capacity March 29 - 10 AM - 12 PM - 2 students March 29 - 11 AM - 1 PM - 2 students March 29 - 12 PM - 2 PM - 2 students Your second class is: April 5th |10 AM - 12 PM Class B - Monday - 9 student capacity March 31 - 12 PM - 2 PM - 3 students March 31 - 1 PM - 3 PM - 3 students March 31 - 2 PM - 4 PM - 3 students Your second class is on: April 7th | 12 PM - 2 PM Class C - Monday - 9 students April 21 - 12 PM - 2 PM - 3 students April 21 - 1 PM - 3 PM - 3 students April 21 - 2 PM - 4 PM - 3 students Your 2nd class is: April 28th | 12 PM - 2 PM Class Party for students for ALL class sessions - show off your jacket with your fellow classmates! Cancellation Policy
Registration & Payment: Payment is required upon class registration. Guests, children and pets are not permitted during class. Service dogs are welcome, please inform us in advance. For any special assistance requirements, please notify us in advance so we can assist you. Students may arrive 10-15 minutes early to set up for class. Classes will begin promptly. Refund Policy: If Sew Hope cancels a class due to low attendance you may opt for a full refund or credit. For student initiated cancellations, a full class refund if cancelled 5 days before the scheduled class. A credit is issued for cancellations 2-4 days prior to your class. No refund or credit is given for cancellations within one day of class. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for withdrawals after the class begins or for missed classes due to illness, personal conflicts or other reasons. Credit or fee transfer to future classes is possible, valid for up to 6 months from the originally registered class date. In the event of class cancellation due to weather or unforseen circumstances, we will attempt to reschedule. If the rescheduled date is inconvenient, you may opt for a refund, or credit (prorated for multi-session classes)
