Class Description

Trace It and Make It Class Unlock the secrets to replicating your favorite store-bought clothing in our exciting Trace It and Make It class! This hands-on course will guide you through the process of tracing and sewing a new garment inspired by a beloved piece in your wardrobe. Class Overview: Bring 2–3 of your favorite clothing items to class and work with our expert instructor to select the perfect piece to replicate. Whether it’s a pair of pants, a skirt, a dress, shorts, or a shirt, you’ll learn step-by-step techniques to trace the item, create a pattern, and sew a brand-new version tailored to your style. Course Details: Schedule: Tuesdays, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Dates: March 4, March 11, March 18, March 25, and April 1 Cost: $199 Prerequisite: Students must have prior sewing experience. What You’ll Learn: How to choose the right clothing item for replication Techniques for tracing and creating a pattern from an existing garment Sewing and assembling your newly crafted item This class offers personalized guidance and expert tips to help you successfully recreate your favorite looks. What to Bring: 2–3 of your favorite clothing items for evaluation and discussion with the instructor. Join us for this fun and creative sewing adventure and gain the skills to replicate clothing like a pro! Register now to secure your spot – space is limited. *Students that are 15 minutes or later to class may be refused entry by the instructor and will forfeit that class. We do this to ensure minimal interruption in our classes. Please be courteous to our instructors and to your fellow sewing classmates by arriving to class on time. Registration & Payment: Payment is required upon class registration. Guests, children and pets are not permitted during class. Service dogs are welcome, please inform us in advance. For any special assistance requirements, please notify us in advance so we can assist you. Students may arrive 10-15 minutes early to set up for class. Classes will begin promptly. Refund Policy: If Sew Hope cancels a class due to low attendance you may opt for a full refund or credit. For student initiated cancellations, a full class refund if cancelled 5 days before the scheduled class. A credit is issued for cancellations 2-4 days prior to your class. No refund or credit is given for cancellations within one day of class. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds
