June 10 Summer Kids Sewing Camp

Class Description

Get ready for some summer fun at Sew Hope! Looking for a summer camp to get your child involved in but not ready to do an overnighter? Our Kids Sewing Camp is the perfect option! Your child will learn sewing basics as they work on fun, creative child-friendly sewing projects that tap into their God-given creativity. This half-day summer sewing camp provides a structured, safe, and fun learning environment for boys and girls ages 8 and up. Skills Your Child Will Learn: * Parts of a sewing machine * How to thread and take care of a sewing machine * How to sew a straight stitch * How to secure stitches * How to create a variety of projects Projects: * Tote bag, pillows, pajama pants, stuffed animals, a skirt, a drawstring bag, etc. Duration: Monday - Thursday from 9am - 11:30am. Our Summer Kids Sewing Camp will be a one week camp (Mon-Thur), We will have 7 separate weeks of summer camp (each week will be the same), so everyone has a chance to join! Just choose the week that works for you! Camp Dates: June 10th-13th June 17th-20th June 24th-27th July 1st-3rd ( We will not have camp on the 4th) . July 8th-11th July 15th-18th July 22nd-25th Class Fee & Policies: The summer sewing camp is $149.00 per week. The weekly fee includes all supplies, and equipment. Lunch is not provided Class Fee Due Date: Payment is due at the start of each week. Attendance: Campers unable to attend the full week of camp yet have registered and paid for that week, we are unable to process a refund. Please ensure your child's availability for camp before registering. Dismissal of Child from Program: We have a zero-tolerance policy for physical, verbal abuse, theft, or vandalism. We want your child to be emotionally and physically safe. Any child found in violation will be asked to leave the camp and no refunds will be given. *Students that are 15 minutes or later to class may be refused entry by the instructor and will forfeit that class. We do this to ensure minimal interruption in our classes. Please be courteous to our instructors and to your fellow sewing classmates by arriving to class on time. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy We are so excited to offer this class and your safety is important. Therefore, we do encourage all students to wear a face mask. We can't force anyone to wear a face mask but we certainly encourage it. If you are sick with Covid-19 symptoms, please refrain from attending class. If you are unable to attend a one-time class due to sickness or another life event that prevents you from attending, we are happy to provide a class credit that can be used for any future class at Sew Hope.
